So, I started this reading challenge I found on book riot yesterday and so far I say its going pretty well granted I haven’t started reading any of the books that I picked out. On the bright side at least I picked out the books! I decided that instead of going out and buying books from each category that I would just use the books that I already own and I was pretty surprised that I had a book for almost every category, but I was also kinda shocked find that I didn’t have any or well really a lot of books written by women, POC, or any one on the LGBT+ spectrum considering I’m all three of those things… So I had to skip some of those categories.Well I guess that gives me an excuse to buy more books after this reading challenge is over.
I usually don’t follow through with any sort of internet challenges but I really hope I follow through with this one, because not to toot my own horn but (toot toot) I picked some pretty good books that I’ve been meaning to read.
